Cowherds Salford- a review

Cowherds is Manchester’s all vegan lunch van! No chips or Bacon butties in sight, Cowherd’s Cafe provide fresh on the go snacks and shakes and raw healthy lunch choices. The menu is quite limited due to space and the fact everything is fresh but there is always soup, very hearty salads, sushi rolls, avacado or almond butter on toast not to mention the sweet treats raw caramel slices and energy balls. The juice and smoothie menus are hugely extensive- with ‘superfood’ ingredients like avacado, carrot, berries, cacao, hemp, ginger, wheatgrass and kale!

Love! The Raw caramel slice/ millionares shortbread has a crunchy and nutty base, a smooth date caramel and a delicious sticky dark chocolate topping

One of my favorites – Raw taco bowls have a strangely meaty walnut mince, avacado and tomato salsa and a nutty cheesy sour cream dressing

The Raw Pad Thai is carrot and courgette noodles, juicy salad, spicy nut satay sauce and fresh edamame beans, coriander really added something to this flavoursome and filling salad!

Divinely glossy!

I was very excited when Jon from Cowherds asked me to review some of their juices and smoothies; for the blog! So I took up this opportunity with great pleasure and look forward to sharing some reviews with you soon.

Thanks! -India
