When out and about in Leeds we visited Out of this World I was impressed to see they had a wide range of toiletries including ‘Faith in Nature’ shampoo and conditioner. I was also pleased to recognize Saker Foods as one of their cake providers, I love Saker cakes, bread and pasties and always buy them when In Hebden Bridge and Tod.
After a pit stop at Costa Coffee we headed back to the festival, running into Gareth Evans -Bolton based vegan performer when we arrived back. I donated some cash to Veganuary not only is it a fab cause they were running a cool exchange- give your loose change and get some delicious Ten Acre Popcorn and crisps! I also had a chat to Sticky Mix who make a lovely range of home bake mixes- their gluten free chocolate cookie mix produces one of the best gluten free cookies ever!
On the way out we scored free churros as the churro stand was packing up and didn’t wan’t to waste them! Another unexpected bonus! We said bye to Miracle the dog and went to find the car, Overall it was a really good day! Thank you to Victoria Bryceson and Dan Sewell for taking on the challenge of Yorkshire Vegan Festival! And thank you to the rest of the Northern Vegan Fair team, the volunteers and all the performers, stand and charities taking part! You are all amazing.
Here is my haul from the day – I won the Tropic exfoliating block on a Tombola (and my cheese scone!) – reviews to come…
